Paula Dean does not get a pass from me. And she shouldn’t from anyone else. Forgive her? No. Haven’t black people and all marginalized people been ask to do this already, to the nth? I beleve in zero tolerance for racism and she didn’t even say she was wrong!! Where are the ethics in money making? I’ll scratch your back, you scratch mine? At what cost? I think it’s outrageous to have this woman trying to teach anything to these children. Michael jones, your comment was so insightful, (paraphrazing) “if you’re black and you talk about your history, your heritage, then you are complaining”. I’m white, but this sounds right to me.
