The Classic Joints #1 Michael Jackson Off The Wall – Review

The Classic JointsWelcome to our new show ‘The Classic Joints’. The listeners have long requested we review more albums and movies, thus The Classic Joints podcast is born.

We start off with reviewing one of the greatest albums of all time; Michael Jackson’s Off The Wall. Before the record breaking success of Thriller, the 1979 release of Off The Wall introduced the world to the grown up Michael Jackson. Teaming up with Quincy Jones and some of the best session musicians and songwriters in the business, Michael Jackson crafted a modern day masterpiece.

  • Great show guys. Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on such a landmark recording. I love this period of Michael’s career. Sort of an in between time. Not the young child star but not the mega star either. In many ways, this is Mike’s 1999 moment.

  • I loved hearing your thoughts on Michael’s album! Thank you! Listening to you guys is so much more enjoyable than really anything on tv and I am a regular viewer. I was wondering can you guys review more of Michael’s albums? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them as well! Thanks for the podcasts guys. Keep up the good work.
