I feel your pain deeply & am so comforted that he found a special friend in you, whom he could relax with & trust, till that heartbreaking last day… You are Blessed to have been so close to Prince & to really know him. Thank you so very much. Amazing hair too Kim. Great work!!! Your parents gave you wonderful advice. Blessings to you & your family & I can only dream of being at Prince’s home, Paisley Park in April,… I wish for you every success with your up coming hair products & the writing of your book, Diamonds and Pearls.     • Thank you Micheal and Kim for this heartfelt interview. Prince did kept long term relationship, despite what the critics said. The man love GOD and mankind. Kim I too was not a Prince fan(atic), but I did respect and love him for who he was. Micheal keep up the good work.

  • WOW! Thank you Kim Berry, for sharing some of your most personal, heartfelt life experiences and the journey that you took with Prince in such a humble, down to earth way. I have been a hair stylist up until recently for over 35 years and know what the connection feels like between stylist and client. We form a trusted bond that grows into a very personal one on one relationship with whom we can both be ourselves and feel better after the fact because of it! I would love for all hairstylists, whether just starting out or struggling to keep it going to listen to your story. Although I believe that you received a little divine intervention, I also believe that great things come through patience, the ability to be open to change and willingness to put the work in to live your dream. I have tried to pass this on to young people starting out in our business and have seen many give up too soon. Your light was shining and you didn’t know it quite yet, but Prince knew it and soaked the energy up before you had another opportunity to wisk you away! What a treasure it turned out to be for you and for him! Almost done rambling, I could talk about many other things concerning Our business and about my love and respect for Prince, his music, his genius capabilities in the knowledge and spiritual wisdom of life that he always had from the beginning and was so in tune to as he evolved into his real self along the way. I see that part of him and know that he left us exactly at the time he needed to, because his work was done here and ours is left to carry on what he left for all to grow, feel and be moved to love by. As Prince was the Artist of his craft, Kim Berry, you are a true Artist of yours! Genius talent can pick out another kindred soul every time by the energy from the light that they shine💜Peace

I could listen to Kim talk all day. There’s a realness to her that’s refreshing and needed. I got emotional listening to her talk about Prince going natural. It’s been almost a year since his passing, but it’s still so hard to accept that he is actually no longer in this realm. Thank you, Kim Berry, for sharing your story with us.   • This is great stuff! I am so appreciative of this interview beyond words. Kim seems so real and P really needed a strong pillar in his life. Who knew that turn out to be one of his longest and lasting friend relationships! Longer than 2 of his marriages, HELLO! Thank you, Kim, for sharing your experience.
