Big Sexy

Born in 1964 in Oakland Ca. Was reading 2nd grade books while in kindergarten courtesy of my older sister teaching me to read at three years old.  That was my own “Head Start” program and since that moment I have been and remain a voracious reader.  All that reading at an early age resulted in my being skipped over the 3rd grade.  But with good comes bad, as a result I was always the youngest and smallest in my classes which resulted in my being picked on.  A lot.

In 9th grade I grew a few inches and the bullying stopped, but by that point I was done with the school system.  By high school I found myself hanging out in Berkeley and playing pinball during the day and showing up on campus at 3:30 for football practice.  After 3 years of varsity football the school finally caught up with my ”creative” attendance and called me on the carpet, and since being there didn’t interest me, I left.  9th grade education and all.  During those aborted high school years I had a run-in with the law and Juvenile Court, and while sitting in that holding cell for an hour I realized that wasn’t the life for me.

I then spent the next few years working around the Bay Area music scene, including time on the road crews of Journey and Santana, which was a lot of fun, but I wanted to be a lawyer, so I decided it was time to make that happen.

I started on the path to college admittance, and because I have an enormous ego, Junior College was NOT an option.  I wanted the entire university experience, damn any community college, I considered that advanced high school. Of course there was zero support or encouragement from family members, setbacks from schools in San Diego and Moraga, but I never stopped moving forward.

Now I am an attorney in private practice, as well as a Sports Agent, and because I come from nothing, and made my own way, a number of my athletes and entertainers place their trust in me because I’m just like them, and at the same time like nothing they have ever seen before.  I’m admitted in several jurisdictions, as well as having membership in the United States Supreme Court Bar Association.

I’m a firm believer of never letting anyone place limits on what I can do.  In college I was professional wrestler, and later I established and ran my own Non-Profit, and Executive Produced a short film.

The two constant and consistent loves have been and always will be music and reading.  That allows be to always be learning and thus be effective advocates for my clients.  And hopefully make contributions to the Podcast Juice network of programs.  I believe there only two kinds of music: Good and Bad.  I have heard something good in practically every genre of music, and sometimes that can act as a lead to be exposed to something new that a person might like.  That’s why music is so great, it’s always changing and being developed by different talents and mindsets.  That’s amazing.
