Michael Dean

Michael Dean started his journey in the arts the day he watched Star Wars A New Hope back in 1977.  From there he developed a love for drawing and music. He took his love for graffiti art and transferred to oil paintings. Having his paintings featured in Macy’s in Seattle. After High School, Michael went all in as an up and coming rapper in the Seattle hip-hop scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aKA-02DctE

The release of his independent single ‘The Master”, lead to a mention in the Source magazine. Michael lent his talents on keyboard and vocals touring with The Evil Tambourines (SubPop) opening for Sir Mix-O-Lot in 1999. From there Michael joined the business side of music and managed a CD replication business for 18 years.

1995 Michael created a webpage called Players World and started to blog about Prince. Michael along with a few others was invited to a private online chat with Prince to discuss involvement in creating a website. (Love4oneanother) Michael respectfully declined but was so honored to be considered that he was inspired to start a new site FreedomTrainOnline which would morph into The Prince Podcast.

Michael came back to his musical roots in 2010 and has since released 3 albums of his own:

Michael also added author to his list of talents. His 1st science fiction novel Truths Destiny (The Destiny Saga) (Volume 1) was released in 2014.

Michael’s greatest achievement is his 3 children, Aubren, Gracie, and Lucas.
